We tried to find answers to the following questions:

• What is palaeontology?

• What do palaeontologists do?

• How old is the Earth and how can we make sense of such big numbers?

• How was the Earth made?

• When did life begin?

• How did life begin?

• Did the Earth look the same as it does now when life began?

The children considered both creation stories and scientific theories to explain the origins of life on Earth.
